The key to the production of a high quality product is analysing and scrutinising the requirements to ensure that all aspects of the product are considered. The ‘ten times’ rule applies, if a mistake is made at the initial stages of design then three steps into the development cycle will take 30 times longer to redesign/ redevelop.
